# Copy Samples

Any of the following reasons might require copying samples from one project to another:

* Analyze a sample in the context of two different projects.
* Transfer ownership of a sample, but keep a copy.
* Correct a sample assigned to the wrong project.

1. From the Projects tab, select the project.
2. Select Samples.
3. Select the checkbox of each sample you want to copy.
4. From the File menu, select Copy, then Sample.
5. Select a project to copy the samples to.
6. Select Copy.
